BE. Established in 2017 Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung lands, Melbourne, Australia

Our project for @biennalesydney, NIRIN HAIVETA was over the course of launch weekend to celebrate and centre Pasifika womxn. Hightlighting the beauty, heart and mana that was exchanged and received with community between elders and the next generations, through various expressions of traditional dance, sing sing, music and food. In honour of the matriarchy and in essence of our spirit.

Curated by Grace Dlabik assisted by Emma Ismawi for BE.
Special thanks to Bulbuwul Gumada Dangura Strong Spirit Dancers for Welcome to Country and dances and to everyone who was a part of this special launch weekend for HAIVETA.
